I'd take that bet that we'll see that price before the end of the year. It's inevitable.

no, I dont believe that the majority of the country will be paying $4 per gallon for regular gas this summer.

 

 

I'm afraid we'll see $4 everything. The dollar exchange rates are looking pretty ugly. Makes one wonder what might have happened to the dollar . . . deficits? off-shore shipping our manufacturing?

The previous remark that you can't believe articles at face value is valid.

I would like to point out refineries are behind earlier than they usually are.

Long term, China and India will be consuming more oil as they have emerging markets for autos.

 

hmmmmm.... i said US average... sure you will get stations hiking up the price. From the pic it looks like SF which has probably the highest price of gas in the entire country.

I see $4 in the city all the time. Drive 30 minutes away... and it comes down to under 3.
