BMW to build hybrid X6 crossover in Greer [,SC]
With the dismal news about Toyota stopping it's plans to build the Prius in Mississippi. It was good to hear that another automaker was continuing to expand their US operations and include a hybrid in the mix.

Last year, the German automaker unveiled plans to invest $750 million in its Greer plant, by adding 1.5 million square feet and creating 500 more jobs. It also announced plans to increase its production to 240,000 vehicles in 2012.
