Flaw drains gas from hybrid vehicles

Leave it to my good old home town's newspaper to reprint an article that Detroit Free Press ran EIGHT WEEKS AGO!!
http://www.freep.com/money/autorevie...e_20050203.htm
In fact, not only is the story 8 weeks old, but two weeks after Mark wrote it, he got so much response from hybrid owners that he had to publish a clarification that basically stated "Um, actually real owners get a lot better mileage than I did during my testing."

Of course, the good old AZ Republic didn't bother providing a link to that followup story. Nope, that would be like actual journalism or something, to provide a link to the 6 week old follow-up to the 8 week old story they reprinted today.

Hi AZCivic:
___I have read the second article before and I should have correlated it with the first … And to think I was about to put on my boots to give a good kick in someone’s *** on Monday morning! Just kidding of course
___Anyway, with gas prices what they are today and will probably be in the future as well as the real FE that some are receiving in whatever they drive, hybrid’s are a natural progression to help us along until the next energy/transportation solution is finally figured out. I cannot say I believe in the hybrid as a total solution but for those that haven’t driven one, once they have for some period of time, they will never un-learn what these miracles have taught all of us. Me included!
___Good Luck
