Great article and pictures. You obviously put a lot of time and work into writing your article. I'm in South Dakota at the gateway to the Blackhills and unfortunately, and only at night, the deer and antelope just insist on crossing the highways. Wild animal strikes are the biggest cause of accidents here so I've often considered changing out my headlamps on my 09TCH to see if I can get perhaps several seconds or more reaction time on the dark two lane highways. Often wondered if changing out my headlamps would make a difference, and base upon your article, it does. Thanks.

A couple years back on vacation, I found myself on the hills leading from Rapid City to Hill City late one night in fog, so I understand what your dealing with. I certainly would have liked to have HID's on my RV in that situation.
