No, I read it right, but mistakenly added an "n't". I was surprised that yours DID creep. But now everyone is saying the same thing, so maybe mine had some issue that kept it from creeping. Regardless, I drove it nearly 7 years and I *loved* that it didn't creep.

Now I have to acclimate again to a car that creeps. Thanks.

 

Just FYI, TCH has anti back roll feature. When you are on an incline, slow car down to a complete halt, then release the brake pedal, vehicle willl stay still as ECM now controls the brakes and holds car for you. It has a dedicated sensor for this, sort of like your cell phone gravity one. So if your vehicle rolls back AFTER brakes were applied and car was brought to a complete halt on incline, something's not right.
I found this "the hard way" as here in Seattle we have plenty of very steep hills, and I tried to do what I normally do - left on brake right on gas. And NOTHING happened - car won't move forward. Until someone told me to completely release brakes and then hit gas pedal. Scary as it is - as you expect roll back - that is the only way it will go up hill from halt.
Also, yes, mine does creep forward on level surface when brake release. Just like an automatic trannie.
