How to reset TPMS loop?
My TPMS computer is in infinite loop, due to me pressing reset button with one sensor not working. Anyone one knows how to reset it, so it can accept new sensor programing?
BTW it's 07 camry

Re: How to reset TPMS loop?
Just to answer my own question and maybe help somebody else in the future: you can either buy reset tool for $25 to $55, like this: Bartec BATWRTRST50 TPMS loop reset tool for Toyota.
or take paper clip and short pin 4 and 13 on your ODBII connector. Not sure if required, but I kept it shorted for about 20 sec and got some message on the display about VSC reset.
Shorting those 2 pins also has additional functions, there is youtube video I watch that guy reset and reprogrammed new computer, keys etc. by shorting those pins for 30 min.
Just make sure you got your pins correct, since most diagrams are upside down, to how connector is positioned in our car. To make sure I got it correct I Double Checked pin 16 has 12v battery voltage with voltmeter and pin 4 is grounded to make sure I got it right before shorting anything, since you can do a lot of damage doing this wrong.
Yes, it did work like a charm, computer went out of loop and accepted new sensor id's and out of 2 new Denso TPMS sensors I bought, one is working and one is not, good I had them programmed in and checked before installing.
