Re: Need 2012 TCH clear rear bumper diagram
Reb,
The easiest way to get a picture is by getting subscription to AllData or Mitchell's manual service. It doesn't cost that much (less than $30 for a year, $45 for 5 years) and will pay for itself the first time you need to use it. I was "asked" not to post pictures from their sites so I have been taking pics of my own cars on most of the "how too's" I have done. Right now, my daughter has mine in Atlanta so that's out....
Having said that, if you need to remove the bumper "facia" or cover, Put protective tape around all edges of the cover (and the rear fenders), open the trunk and using a small taped up screwdriver, pop the covers off the two hidden bolts in the upper right and left sides of the cover that are hidden by the trunk lid and remove those two bolts.
You can then remove the remaining 4 bolts and 4 clips from below the bumper cover. Once that is done, there are 12 "claw" type clips on each side that are disengaged by pulling outward on the cover. Take your time doing these to prevent damage to the paint (It's flexible but not gorilla proof). Assemble in reverse order.
