Is it possible to update/upgrade Bluetooth?
My 2008 Camry's Bluetooth has a few quirks because it is an early version of the technology.
For example, Waze broadcasts turn by turn navigation via Bluetooth, but Apple Maps (iPhone 5S iOS 7.1) does not. In addition, Voice Dial, hands-free phone calls and Siri work, but Voice Mail, does not broadcast over the sound system in the car via BT.
Is there any way to upgrade or update the software...or am I stuck with this until I get a new car?
Thanks!

You like the car?
Buy $40 worth Kiniwo and stick it somewhere. Connect to 3.5 jack and be happy. Stream and talk.
IOS is very finicky, as their BT architecture is different, so do not expect much there.
You can buy Grom BT adapter with USB port, the latest and the greatest, and be happy too.
Do you LIKE THE CAR? The rest is few bucks here and there. Ever since I got Scosche BT adapter in my Ridgeline and Kiniwo in my TCH, I am happy.
