For those that were asking, here is a list of the best LED lights to replace the interior lights.


WLED-WHP6
2x for visor vanity
1x for Dome
2x for Rear Reading
2x for License Plate
1x for Trunk (Though you may want a CCF - see below)


"WLED-X5"
2x for Doors (You can use WLED-WHP6, but they may be too bright)


WLED-WHP
2x for Driver and Passenger Reading Lights

For the trunk, I went with Cold Cathode tubes. They are 9v~14v - same kind you get for a PC case. I picked up these from ebay for $3.95.

I'm going to do the turn signals next. I want a clean look, low power, and 100% legal. I'll post my findings once I get them done. (Waiting on 5 different sets to figure out which will look right)

Okay, I'll ask. Why use LED bulbs?

 

Low power, low heat, bright light. Just generally more efficient.

Good point. They have a lifetime that is many times that of incandescent.

VERY low power, .25 watt vs 5 watt. That also accounts for the lack of heat generated. They are MUCH brighter than the incandescent bulbs. Most importantly to me, color. I can not stand the dirty yellow light that a standard bulb puts out.

 

the gallery looks great, this will be my first mod. can you put a link in for the smaller LEDs, i see the ebay one for the cathode. I really want the interior ones and the license plate one.
