Default For those in the midwest and northeast. How bad is you milage?

Ok so I know why it is happeneing, the ICE is running a lot to keep warm and to meet the demands of the heater etc. Just wondering how much of a hit people who are suffering in near or below 0°F temps are seeing.

We have the highest milage TCH in the database with over 23k miles since the end of May and my wife (it is her car) have been avg like 37 mpg which is righ ton the forum avg...but with winter it went down and she was seeing numbers around 35 mph. Well with our recent cold snap with highs under 20°F and negative overnight lows the milage took another big wack. Last tank was like 31.8 mpg.

Funny how after only a few months that number seems like she is getting horrible milage when in the spring in her Maxima she would have been lucky to get 28 mpg.

We're in Calgary, Canada. The cold weather (from 10 to -10F) plus snow on the road slowed down everything and our car gives around 30mpg in the last 4 weeks. I guess that's normal :-)

I'd agree with that.

30-33 US MPG, 35-39 Imperial MPG

Most of the driving I did on this last tank was with the temperature between 0 and -12 F on the MFD. I got 30.5 mpg over a 450 mile tank.

Just under 33 MPG in West Virginia with temps between 6 and 24F. I'm not really disappointed too much, my wife's Volvo is getting about 16 MPG when it normally would be getting 21. I think its so cold that its affecting everyone's mileage.

My last tank was about 33 - with bad cold snaps. This tank is faring better - so far around 36. Of course, my commute home from work is a dream commute - gentle hills, mostly down, and I get 40+ on the way home.

Got 31 mpg during last fill in January. This one coming up will not be any better. Temperatures have been in the 20's. All the plastic parts in the car are squeaking.
