Default Tire Wear

Has anyone given any thought to the fact that the TCH may have more than usual tire wear on the drive tires due to the fact that electric motors are not as forgiving as gasoline engines. This wear will be more excessive for people that tend to almost always use hard accelleration from stops.

I have heard some people saing they break their tires loose off the light, maybe it is because I have Michlens, but I have never had the issue. Maybe I am too carefull.

How many with tire wear issues are running pressures far in excess of the recommended value? High pressure would contribute to breaking traction due to less tire surface in contact with the pagement. Overinflation also contributes to excess tire wear in the center of the tread (as opposed to the edges).
