Just wondering, the 2007 THC I bought has 59,900km on it which I thought would be under 36,000miles since the Toyota warranty here in Canada goes up to 60,000... Just did the math and it is about 36,500 miles but still within the 3 year period. Think I would be able to get the EC warranty still? I hope

What do they request when you purchase the EC through them? How do they verify that you are below the 36,000 miles?

I hope i can get it, I really do want the EC on this car since there are so many electronic components that could fail!

Hi. Any good deals going on lately? I have a 2013 Camry Hybrid and need to start shopping around for an extended warranty.

So far the best I've see is 1 grand ( $999 ) for the 7/year 100k Toyota extended warranty.

 

We bought one from a dealer in Texas for around 800 when we bought our 07, however we never used it. We have around 180,000 miles on ours now.

 

Yes, we also had one on our Sienna and hardly used it ( kind of broke even ). So yes, it's a personal thing. I have had home insurance against fire even thought I have not claimed one ever in 35+ years.

So for those looking at adding Toyota extended warranty, it would be helpful to compare prices here.

I just bought a 2013 TCH to replace my crashed 2007 TCH. I got the 8-year, 100K mile, 0-deductable toyota platinum warranty for $1149 from jerry johnson midwest toyota superstore, kansas 800.530.5789. He also had the 7-year version for $999. Nice guy. No pressure or hard sell. Advantage of buying now is unlimited free towing if car breaks down, and get a free (toyota pays for it) rental car if TCH is in shop overnight. This came in handy when my 2007 TCH was in the shop for 35 days straight.
