can not find tranny fill plug? please help
hello, This is my first post, as well as my first time changing my transmission fluid myself.
I cannot seem to find the fill plug. I have scoured the website and internet for pics of its exact location but have failed miserable.
From what I have read, it should be located behind the engine cover and to the right and that it will be a bolt with ATF stamped on it.
yet, it still eludes me.

tranny drain bolt - you need to look for the bolt that allows you to insert a 3/8" ratchet or breaker bar into it, it's not a regular flat head bolt.
you need to make sure you open the filler plug on top of the transmission before you loosen the drain bolt.

If you stand in front of the car the fill plug is on the right side in the back. Basically in line with the steering wheel. It is gold in color and down low in front of the fire wall with "ATF" stamped on top. You'll need a long extension and some muscle. To refill get a long neck funnel.
Changing the tranny fluid is easier than an oil change.
