HCH CVT to 5 speed swap?
 

Hi guys, I have been doing some searching around and I came across very little info regarding the CVT to manual transmission swap. Would anyone happen to know if this swap has been done before?

I edited the title to correct the typo I made earlier.

This is a bit of an old thread, but the question still remains; has anyone done a CVT to 5 speed swap? If so, is there any information regarding such a conversion?

My current concern is a failing start clutch in my 05 HCH. If It's feasible to swap in a 5mt from another HCH instead of having this trans rebuilt I will go that route.

I'm very interested in this as well. I'm guess the HCH flywheel will be pricey, as I'm assuming that's the rotor part of the equation. My wife would much rather have a 5speed in hers so I've started doing homework on it.

From what I can tell online, the 5 speed from the plain Jane civic is the same as our hybrid's 5 speed. If you're asking about swapping in an Si spec unit, good luck, those will be pricey if you can even swap them.
