My transmission just broke. The symptom is selection of speed is very hard. Today it can't go to park, so I force it a lot with selector and i broke the cable.

124$ parts, which great compare to my dealer in canada, wants 250$!! crazy dealer.

Anyone can give me advice is very welcome.

here's what i did already, i remove everything from the cabin, i can remove the cable from selector stick.

I don't know how to remove it from the selector box, it doesn't have any screws...

it's hard to explain, anyhow, if someone know how to do it, let me know.

thank you, now I'm driving by changing gear from the engine bay. I found the lever where the cable broke, I change gear from there, before changing any gear I put a big bricks on the brake pedal. It' crazy dangerous.

 

i found how to do it, but there's a bolt that is very rusty that I can't pull it out.

i took two pictures, 1) the bold that is rusty and broken,

2) original part that what the bolt is suppose to be.

There's no thread, it's just a hole as you can see in the picture.

can someone tell me how to remove that rusty part, I put lot of wrench liquid but it's just doesn't move. please help! really getting desperate here
