What is the specification for 12 volt battery
What is the recommended specification for 12 volt battery for 2004 civic hybrid ?
My friend doesn't has the owner manual for his car and want to know how much AH for 12 volt battery, I have 2006 civic hybrid and it's 28 AH or 35 AH , but I don't know if it's the same for the older models ...

Why is he worried about that? All he needs to know is it is a group 51R battery. The starter on the car is the hybrid motor, so on these the other specs are only something to worry about if he plans to sit in the parking lot a lot and listen to a stereo. The first gen HCH do have a conventional starter as a backup, but that is just incase the IMA fails, in which case the 12v battery wouldn't charge to begin with.
