won't engage reverse gear sometimes
We have a '05 civic hybrid with about 150k miles. Sometimes when putting the manual transmission into reverse and letting out the clutch, we get nothing, the motor just free spins like in neutral. After shifting back out and in a couple times it will work. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Please I desperately need help! I am willing to pay for information. I have a Mercedes Benz Cito O520 Hybrid Bus that used to barely move forward and reverse after repairing the inverter. Now it doesn't move at all, and the screen shows a circular symbol with an E in it and the description E-Antrieb. Could you please help me with the solution?
