Default 44 mpg again

Darn, no matter how I try I keep getting mileage in the 40's even though the temp's are in the teens and 20's outside...others keep saying they are getting in the low 30's I don't know why I don't. I havent pulled a risky move and pulled out in front of someone while the battery was in recal mode, in fact I haven't had a recal in months...I think I am going to sue Honda, they have given me nothing to complain about .

Sorry, this is sarcasim.

That is about the same results I've had Bob. Nothing to complain about here as well. Must be the good clean air up here! Hal

I think your battery is dying just like my 09 HCH I got IMA warning lights with only 12,000 miles. If you read other forums you will see many people with the same issue. Sue Honda for a recall.

On this line of thought....is there a definitive total number of HCH II's that are in service world-wide?

10,000?

100,000?

More?

Cheers

I have 751 posts and my HCH has averaged only 42.54 MPG since new. Would that qualify me to sue Honda?

Last year Honda said they made more than 300,000 hybrids. from the numbers they made more than 220,000 HCH-2s' since the fall of 2005.

If someone is having issues, that's valid too: let's not make this a lovefest ;o

Reality is that there seem to be more issues with these HCH's than the average Honda. This is my experience as well. Wishing it away or "shooting the messenger" doesn't change facts. Congrats to those who have had no issues and great FE (no sarcasm). I will continue to view Honda positively, but probably won't buy another hybrid.
