You know I forgot to ask what the warranty on the replacement IMA is, if it's a fresh 8 / 80 or not. I'll find out and post when I know.
When I got my new battery (sold the car a week after that) the stipulation was the original warranty is what one gets when the car is new, thus if the warranty is up at 130,000 kms, Honda will honour the warranty obligation up to 130,000 kms and not 1 km more.

I went to the dealer yesterday. Made me pay 120 to read the code. Which already I had known it was the P0A7F code. And said they had to do this and perform the latest sw upgrade in order to show they tried fixing the problem. If the IMA light comes back on..bad news for me. Either replace it or just drive with it on. I know the class action lawsuit will cover the costs, but how many yrs till i get that check??

Andy, how is the battery state of charge behaving after replacement- where is it spending most of the time?

It's typically between five bars and full charge. I've seen it at 4 bars once, but never below that. Summer is coming up though, lots of AC so I'm curious how it performs then.

Makes sense, mine pretty much lives at 4 bars, occasionally swinging to full but never stays there long. Just got a call from DOT about the complaint I filed. It appears they are getting a lot of similar complaints and are investigating!
