I did my taxes online. All I had to do was fill in the information (type of hybrid and the dat I bought it). It gave me a tax credit automatically and I didn't have to do anything. I already got my tax return!!

SHannieb77: How did you file online? My wife uses turbotax and she said the release date for the 8910 isn't until the 16th of February and we have to wait to file our taxes then.

I just checked this morning and Turbo Tax says that the error is fixed and the updates are in, just finished efiling. If you are using online go online and finish, otherwise use the one click updates on your box version.

I updated my TurboTax this afternoon, finished off my filing, and got the full $2100 tax credit.

As far as the AMT exclusion, We don't owe any AMT, and are in the top 7% of filers and got the full credit, So this probably means that almost everybody else will get their full credit too!

One piece of trivia is that on the Form 8910, and within TurboTax you have to declare what kind of car you bought. There is a listing for a Honda Civic MT. Is that an HCH-I?
