If you look over at Bobistheoilguy.com, I came across a posted UAO that showed a lot of moly in the Honda factory fill, which supposedly helps with break in. I'm no petroleum engineer, however, and can't say if the additive really makes a difference or not. I'll probably change mine between 5 and 6K, when I noticed the oil really getting nasty with the Civic.

I agree. I've only power flushed 1 tranny (not a Honda) and the results were not favorable, to say the least.

I just know our CVTs are more temperamental than a teenage drama queen and I'm keeping the mantra of "change early, change often" with CVT fluid. Even better if I can do the filter too.
