Just purchased a 2007 HCH-2
Hey folks. I just purchased this car yesterday. Anything I should know immediately in regards to maintenance, recalls, optimizing MPGs? All input is appreciated. My other cars are a Lexus ISF and a BMW 335xi, both modded. I'm very comfortable doing whatever I need to the car myself so any technical suggestions are welcome as well.

As far as mods there's not too many mods you can do to the car: I have a blue light kit on mine and have thought about adding a short ram intake. For those willing to spend a little more money there are cat back exhaust options on ebay and you can also get suspension upgrades too. I wouldn't advise lowering the car however as it already rides pretty low. |

Alright thanks, I've been working on the best driving techniques to maximize mpg. As far as mods go, I meant mods for getting better MPGs out of the Civic. I'd rather sink performance mod money in to the ISF where I'll actually see some returns. :)

I've always wanted to Mugenize my HCH2. But it's money better wasted on my S2000 and M3 than my stock HCH2 :)

Yeah. I'm not interested in spending any money on the hybrid if it doesn't increase MPGs. My ISF is the car I drop mod money in to.

Re: Just purchased a 2007 HCH-2
i still have the ISF. I drive a lot for work and my company compensates me a fixed amount each month for fuel and car. My ISF was costing me almost $300/month for gas, I can reduce that probably to $100/month with the HCH-2. Freeing up $200 extra each month. I drive my ISF on the weekends and after work.
