Re: new epa mpg estimates?
We had our first frost of the season and I started my car to warm up. I was surprise to see it only climbed 4 bars nowhere near the middle....

I don't know about you, but I don't drive with frost on my windshield.
(Also, the frost was not enough to warrant a scraper..)
I also like to run my car in the winter after a snow storm to loosen the snow from the windows when I scrape.

you should take a look at my numbers. I live in chicago and still manage to get a lifetime MPG over 50. To get above 50MPG you have to be a smart driver that knows how to feel the car and anticipate red lights and slow traffic. I really believe that my hybrid has made me a better driver.
Of course any dummy can drive a hybrid, but it takes a little bit of talent to hit 50-55MPG plus.

Yes, you cant leadfoot an HCH and get EPA let alone 50mpg. Route has a big effect - not just how much "talent" you have.
Arbittan - I think your car is not ok - maybe it is a seller. If you are doing a 2 minute warmup before a 15-20 minute trip then yep your FE will suffer.
