Reserve capacity test for HCHII battery

Reserve capacity test for HCHII battery
I was reading over at "Temple of VTEC" that Honda dealers are able to perform a "reserve capacity" test on the IMA battery pack. Apparently Honda will not replace the battery unless this test falls below 35%.
This is the first I've ever heard of this test. Until now we're being told the system needs to "throw a failure code" before they will act.
Can anyone confirm this test procedure exists? The source of this info is from a Honda salesperson who owns an HCHII.
Thanks!
Roger

Re: Reserve capacity test for HCHII battery
I remember reading Mainiax's thread regarding his car being declared a lemon. In one of his posts he described such a test that was done on his vehicle. It measured SoC % and Useable charge %.
