Unswitched cig lighter?

Unswitched cig lighter?
Does anyone know how to make the cigarette lighter continue to serve power when the car is switched off? My old Mini Cooper had a second outlet in the back that was always on. I'd like to be able to charge my BT headset in the car while I'm away, instead of bringing it into the house and plugging it into the wall. I can't imagine that the current draw would be enough to drain the battery, or am I wrong about that?

Do both chargers turn off when the car is not turned on? I would assume that the power outlet in the armrest console would be wired for a more 'utility' like purpose. I've been wrong before though.

Yup...at least in my car that's how it's working.

Both power outlets are driven by a relay. The power is normally available with the engine off, but should not be available if the key is off the ignition.
