Default Wheel Lock Variants

I've noticed that there are two types of wheel locks available: "Locking wheel nuts" and "Locking wheel nuts (exposed)". Does anyone know the difference?

The reason I'm asking is because I currently have wheel locks on my stock wheels. However, I am getting Civic DX (steel) wheels and hubcaps for the winter, and am wondering if my current wheel locks will work with the new wheels/hubcaps.

Yeah, as long as there are no offset differences, you're fine. I don't know what the chances are of someone stealing steel wheels where you live is...but I guess a fresh set of tires is a fresh set of tires. Never hurts to be safe I suppose.

Your current wheel lock nuts will work but you'll be need to get additional DX lug nuts (4 per wheel) just to make sure the wheel cover is held snugly in place.

Please see next picture: Michelin X-Ice with DX wheels and covers.

The chances are relatively high. The city I live in is usually near or at the top of the list of cities with the highest crime rates.

I thought they didn't have much crime in Canada! Isn't it too cold to steal stuff in winter?!!!
