Default Just Got A New 2009 Hybrid Vue

Am newbie to posting to this this great forum, even though have been reading it for a while . My Vue is a month old and I have been pleasantly surprised at city/suburb avg mileage of 29 - 30+ MPG (measured manually at each fill up - the car display reading is always about 1 - 1.3 units lower). Recently did a long trip (1,086 miles round trip) and at 70 MPH w/Hybrid A/C on, got 30+ MPG. This was really great as my old Vue V6 only got about 22-23 MPG. On a 40+ mile trip where my speed was around 65 MPH, according to car display, I was averaging 33-34 MPG. Topography of land really effects mileage. Like others, will be getting a full size spare and am also dissapointed at Saturn about this. Found a jack on e-bay. Also, hope I get a decent bit of battery life before it has to be replaced.

Enjoy your new 2009 Hybrid Vue. I am sure the tips that we have posted for the 2007 and 2008 Vue's will come in handy for your 2009.

Too bad we will never realize the 2010 Plug In Vue. It is a dream that will never be reality.

May you have happy driving, safe travels and great MPG's be in your future.
