Has anyone tried to fit a spare tire in the place where the spare is supposed to go?

Does it fit with the battery there?

 

A full size spare will not fit. That why you get the inflater with the can of fix-a-flat. For what it worth, I haven't used a spare tire in years, and the last time I did, it was for the camper.

 

I don't need a full size spare, I was just looking for a spare...
It looks like a donut might fit rear of the battery

I use spares like water.... the car I traded in (Ford Focus wagon) for the Saturn got a whole set of dented rims and old tires free

The way I am with tires, I might buy a spare and jack to ride around with

I was wondering if I could order a donut instead and it fit under the cover.
