What Gas Mileage Are You Getting With Your Vue?

Hi all,

I was wondering what mileage you all were getting with your Vue's. I'm only getting 24 mpg or about 400 miles to the fill up. I live in suburban Chicago. Please let me know.:D

I'm getting 25 MPG with mostly short commutes. There are people doing far better than that, and some doing rather worse.

The Best In America.

4 Tanks over 500+ miles.
Best Tank 556.6 miles.
Best Tank Average: 35.09mpg
Last 10,000 miles 32.42mpg
Lifetime: 31.445mpg

As with any Hybrid - the numbers are in standard range. Some Vue's seem to struggle in the low 20's while most are in the 25-27mpg range. New EPA numbers are 23mpg city - 29mpg highway for an average of 26mpg. However, there are some who have the right combination of technology, driving style and communting patterns.

Firenurse4 - watch his tank numbers approach the 33+mpg range and overall average get to 31mpg. (Glad to read he is back in the driver's seat.)
Phil94 just logged a 521 mile tank at 33.2mpg.
Dundertaker has a 33.5mpg tank, DRD T-bone had a 501 mile tank at 31.4mpg and Xyrus has been knocking at that 30+mpg tank mark for the past month.

To all - keep the honest numbers coming.

I am getting 28-31mpg in mixed driving, slightly higher in hwy.:D

:lightbulb OurGL:
I think your VUE-GL has a problem. My worst mpg was about 23 mpg in subzero weather, warming up the car to scrape windows, driving through snow and slush with no autostop or regen until the last few miles of my commutes. I would have the dealership check your car's computers, parts, tire pressure or whatever else can affect the mpg.
My tire pressure was set 7 pounds too low for a while. At the rated 35 pounds, it drives better too.
With my driving, a preHybrid VUE with a smaller engine was getting about 22 mpg, so the hybrid system certainly does help.

:embarass: By the way, how do I add my mpg to the stats page. The VUE GreenLine picture button doesn't do anything when I click it.

Averaging 30 mpg here no problem! Goal is to have a 550 mile tank by the end of the year :) I've had better tanks than the 31.4 but I wasn't aware of this web site at the time, so hopefully I should clobber that fairly soon
