2008 honda civic hybrid tuneup help 106000 Miles

Hi,

I just bought a 2008 honda civic hybrid less than a month ago, which has about 106000 miles on it. I'm getting about 24-26 MPG in the city, but seemed to give me better MPG on the highway. I am not sure if the previous owner did any tuneups.

I'd appreciate any suggestion on how to increase the MPG and what are the tuneups I should get done in order to increase the fuel economy? I do not drive aggressive.

Also, I've ordered new air filter. I'm not sure what else o do.

Thank you very much for any information..

Some ideas
1) Check tire pressure. Each tire should be at least 35PSI minimum.
2) Clean/Spray the intake with throttle body cleaner or the 3 part 3M cleaner. Burn off all the carbon deposits.
3) Make sure you don't turn on the defrost (top vent) because this turns on the A/C automatically, and A/C is a big mileage killer.
4) Find out if the spark plugs were replaced at 100K miles.
5) Make sure you use the 0W20 oil. I use the Mobil1 0W20
6) See if the CVT fluid has been replaced. You are supposed to do a 'drain and fill' every 30K miles. Its fairly easy to do
