Default which 12v Optima battery is Nissan's 999M1-NB34C?

My 2009 NAH with 189,000 miles has a dead battery, OEM Panasonic, among other issues.

I'm trying to find the factory recommended replacement Optima battery, Nissan part # 999M1-NB34C, as stated in the TSB NTB08-044a.

The dealerships around me are asking around $320-$399 so I'm trying to source one outside, but having trouble finding the correct Optima battery.

I called Optima and the CSR told me that they don't have one specifically for my 2009 NAH?!

I know there are other AGM batteries for this car but I figure might as try to stay with Nissan's recommendation, which has holes for a vent tube as it is with the current OEM Panasonic.

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

For those of you who have replaced the 12v battery with an AGM type, which did you end up installing?
With the vent tube installed or not?

Short version: Optima makes a battery they will only sell through Nissan: The Optima 34C (Nissan Part #: 999MI-NB34C )

Unbelievably, we are now in 2021 and this is STILL an issue (monopolized battery supply). I bought my Hybrid Altima in 2008 new. Recently, in March 2021, the electronics wouldn't fire up when the weather was 20f (-10c). I checked the 12v battery in the trunk in the right panel, and there was an Optima 34C (Note: Nissan lists this as part# 999MI-NB34C ). In short, this is an especially adapted Optima battery made specifically for Nissan, as it is "vented" (i.e., there is a hole in the side to connect your vent hose allowing the release excess hydrogen that could occur under abnormal charging situations.).

I noticed many individuals claiming they simply installed a comparable AGM battery (Redtop, etc), believing that it is sealed and won't vent. While it's true they are sealed, they can still vent. However, I went to an electric vehicle garage that also was a "Battery Experts" franchise and the recommended the "Advance
34-boltadv" AGM. No vent. While I know there is a risk, I assume it is extremely low and therefore a reasonable safe, yet nonetheless expensive, option.
