Lets talk tires, best 50+ psi ones.
 
So im in a quest for the LLR tires that work the best at about 44 to 51 psi. yes 44 to 51 cold.

I've come across this thread, and they where all done with oem tire spec's, not to full pressure.

Some of them according to tirerack, are rated to go to 51 psi, others are not, but while that is a concern, my next concern is comfort. Its no secret other tires are quiter and take bumps with more grace then others. So does anyone here have any idea which tires are the most comfortable at 51 psi?

My next concern would be to change out the struts for something like a kybn agx.

There are other obvious alternatives such as getting different rims and tires that run the thinner tires at say 60 psi, with probably the kyb agx, and something like smooth wheel covers. Though im not sure I will go that route as im trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible.

Per our previous interaction, Bridgestone Ecopia EP422 Plus. You don't need to bother with 51 psi.

Don't muck with too much. Note the HCH2 wheels are completely different than the standard civic. They are essentially like smooth wheel covers.

I can agree with the wheel covers being irrelevant, however I disagree on needing further modification. Going to much higher psi then the oem 32 will greatly give better performance and mpg, at least in my experience with another car. Otherwise im not sure what you are basing that off of, everything I have read and seen suggests otherwise.

Just based purely off ratings, the Continental purecontact and truecontact seems to win out. It has the higher max load of 1356, and 51 psi max(except truecontact), which is what I was looking for. The combination of the two in theory means it should last the longest, and take heat and high pressure the best, and off course the 700AA rating, and the impressive consumer ratings.

If your right about psi at least, the Truecontact seems the way to go, at least in terms of ratings.
