New owner with a few Q's and a story
 

Anyways, my commute has been 30 miles one way for the past year and thats going through Las Angeles at 3-4 pm, and I ran my toyota 95 p/u into the ground. Well two weeks ago I bought an 05 HCH from a used car lot with 95,000 miles for 10,000 out the door. Sounds like it was driven hard but I felt happy, until I drove home and the IMA and check engine lights came on, literally 20 minutes from the dealer(who said I was SOL.) Long story short, I had Honda do a full check on the car and they said the IMA battery was the only problem and it was out of warranty($4,000) which sounds crazy. After they finished the check and called me to confirm cost they said they called Honda and that Honda was going to cover about 85% of the cost. So I got a new batt for $804 inc diagnostic. So that was the story, now for the q. Is there any helpfull info for hooking up an ipdo to the stereo? I can't beleive that peice doesn't even play mp3. I had a cheap deck in my truck for the past 6 years that could do all I wanted.
