2007 Ford Escape Hybrid Service Emissions System
 

Over the past year I have been getting a Stop Safely Now when initially starting the vehicle when its in the sun and vehicle is hot. Maybe 6 times in the past year. I just turn it off and it comes right back on and I wont have the stop safely again until the car is sitting in the sun. I had codes pulled. P0685 and P1A0C. I currently have the engine light on and display says service emissions system. Related?

Hi there,

You may have much better luck posting in the actual Hybrid section as opposed to the "Ford Motor Company" forum.

Have you changed your MECS pump? There was a recall for this item a few years back.
