Default Installing mechanical oil pressure with oem?

09 Sierra hybrid 6.0 I want to install a mechanical gauge and if possible keep my oem active would that be possible? I had the screen under the sensor issue already and a bad sensor all together and have little trust in it. I just want piece of mind I believe my engine is strong and in good health but you never know.

With the correct adapter fittings, you should be able to do that. Hard to get at back there.
