Unhappy Need help!!!

I have 2008 GMC Yukon hybrid with 201000 miles on it, and I am getting P0BBD and P0AC4 codes. I took the battery out and tested each of the 40 modules and they all came back between 8.08v and 8.21v. I am VERY confused I thought they where supposed to be around 7.2v. Somebody please help me figure this out. Are the modules not discharging correctly?

1) measuring voltage is not testing them. You're just checking voltage. Voltage tells you almost nothing about the health of the module. The only thing you've confirmed is that there are none with cells that went dead between the time you turned the car off and the time you measured the voltages.

2) A spread of 8.08 to 8.21 is pretty bad. Anything below 8.16 is likely bad. My guess is you have maybe 5-10 good modules. The rest are bad.

The way these consistently fail is their capacity just keeps getting lower and lower until eventually, they just wear out. This has been documented many times on here for the foolhardy few that brave cracking the pack.

Do what he did.

Get Torque Pro.
Get a compatible bluetooth OBD reader
Research the Extended PIDs for your hybrid (this site again)
Record drive data
Upload drive data

Thanks, I figured i wasn't doing much. I have made up my mind to buy a reman. from Miami hybrids. They have pretty good reviews and it seems they are one of the few that will come to me. so wish me luck.

I’m gonna go with green bean battery instead, Miami hybrids didn’t have any availability…
