Stability System and Lowering

Stability System and Lowering
Does anyone know if you have to reprogram the stability system if you use drop spindles? I'm getting stability system warning lights when I make right and left turns past about 40 degrees. Speed is irrelevant.
This is not ABS, the "low traction" message does not light, so there is not a sensor issue.
The drop spindles lower the axle centerline in relation to the center of mass, so I assume the calculation for roll and yaw are changed and this maybe is causing the stability system to mistake regular turns for skids.
Anyway, I Googled it and found a few people that report stability system lights with lower spindles, not springs (which makes sense, right).
So, anyone heard of this, and is there a software fix?
