Default Suburban hybrid

Do you think there is any chance of a Suburban Hybrid. Being a larger vehicle it could handle a larger battery for extended EV operation.

Ken, before we bought our Prius, I read many EV pubs and remember a guy had an older suburban that he did an EV mod on. He had two layers of batteries in the back of that thing like you have seen the pickup bed full on some of those early EV homebuilts. I bet he had several thousand pounds of batteries! But he was EV! I think if you can do a big bus with two mode, you could certainly do a Suburban. I think they saw the sales of the suburban decline and almost stopped production on it. Maybe that would be different if it were more efficient.
