Slashdot.org has again approved one of my hybrid submissions: a blurb I sent about the addition of hybrid taxis in New York. I expect a large amount of traffic from new visitors. Welcome, Slashdotters!

Congrats Jason. You are such a great asset to the community that is pushing the rest of society towards a better future. I have said that before since I am three times your age and have my own website.

I believe in competition because that makes us do our very best for something we all want. You have gotten two tremendous links to Slashdot.Org. So I thought I would put one in tonight that has links to the Escape Hybrid, My Yahoo Group, Eric's About.Com, and your great Hybrid.Com site.

Keep up your great work. Hope Canada was good for you and we all hope your September leads to a great college education.

Heh, I saw that submission and I had a fleeting thought that it was not typical slashdot fare. Didn't realize where it came from :)

btw, in the slashdot thread one fellow mentioned that his parent's G1 Prius battery died. I chatted with him for a minute tonight, and he clarified that it was the 12v, not the HV battery. I think he plans to add an addendum to this post, so that people stop bugging him ;)
