There has been a significant update to the GreenHybrid mileage database. By popular request, the data may now be viewed car-specific with a page for each vehicle. I hope to add additional car-specific graphs and records soon. I'll keep you informed!

Hi Jason:

___The only item I see is that it appears that some of the Civic’s are std. Civic’s, not HCH’s? Also, I don’t see Pixgal’s latest tank. I don’t know who she (he?) is or what he or she drives but “Little Red un-Corvette” sounds like an Insight or a non-Hybrid to me?

___Don’t forget about Rick Reece’s THS and Krousdb’s HSD for “Driver(s) of the Month” given their respective last recorded tanks!

___Good Luck

Wayne,

What do you mean? Why would you think that the database is incorrect? I didn't input the data!

Also, as I said I'm looking to add some more features. I just finished exams and have been extremely busy, so hopefully they'll be next on the agenda.

Hi Jason:

___I didn’t say anything was wrong with the database, I said some Civic’s appear to be std. Civic’s and not HCH’s. Maybe a more detailed look like CVT or 5-speed? Some probably are mixing up Hybrid and non-Hybrid given the Prius and Insight do not have a std. ICE counterpart whereas the Civic does.

___I now see Pixgal’s tanks so that isn’t an issue?

___Don’t let the site take you away from your studies and exams. The site may not be viable in 5 years whereas your studies and degree will last a life time!

___Good Luck with your finals in either case.

Wayne,

It's a possibility. I'll change the value in the dropdown to Civic Hybrid. I doubt there have been many mistakes, though, if any.

New feature! Cars updated within the past 24 hours are highlighted orange.

Nice feature! Good idea! Before, I would only look at
the last person to update at the time I checked the
database!

And thank you for adding the ability to view a table
for each hybrid type. Sort of subtle, though -- I didn't
notice that change immediately. And hey! I'm in the
top 5 for HCH! Probably won't last long as more people
come to the site.

No problem. I try and add minor things like that when I see a need for them. More major things like the records page take time.

*whoops!* Individual car pages just stopped working. Overwrote some code. Oops! Fixing...

Jason,

FYI - the ALT attribute (or whatever it's called when you put the mouse pointer over an image) in the database for the car images doesn't seem to work in Netscape 7.1. It does work in Internet Explorer, though. I'm not sure if any members/visitors use any other browsers and notice the same thing.

No biggie in my case, but thought you might like to know.
