From the chart, it appears that the Insight provides the best fuel economy at all speeds. To me this would indicate that the Insight wins the comparison. It's funny that the article kind of implies that the Insight is the biggest loser.
Personally, I find that 60 MPH provides the best highway mileage on this vehicle, around 58 MPG. Unfortunately, in the real world of Chicago driving, a constant 60 is not always possible. Overall, I'm averaging 48 MPG for the 8,000 miles on the clock so far.

Not a single quality defect or warranty repair to date.
