Default Re: Honda pulling plug on Insight

Late response but maybe it's because the Insight doesn't beat the Prius in any way. The interior is cheap and cramped, the Prius' fuel efficiency is a bit better, and the price is too close to justify those sacrifices. I wanted an Insight because I wanted a Honda, but got the Prius because it was a better car. Now I have the (wonderful) Accord Hybrid because Honda got it right this time. With so many other hybrid models the Insight doesn't really have any obvious benefits.

The articles mention the slow sales of the CR-Z too; I wanted to get one the year they came out but I had kids to carry around, and only the Euro-spec models had back seats.
