Question Are any hybrids better than others?

Let me try this again.. I was wondering if there is a "top tier" hybrid. One that is considered "better" then the others.

Again, I'm looking at a c-max but want to get the most "bang for my buck" so to speak.

Thanks!

I would probably say the Prius. It's by far the most produced hybrid on the market. Nothing else even comes close.
