Got a Good Laugh Today
As I was walking to my car from Walmart (Looking for a CD), I saw a Toyota Sequoia (SP?), the giant SUV, trying to get into the first parking spot in the row. On the passenger side, the rear window was down, and a kid about 10, was leaning out, leaning his waist against the door, bent over, telling his mom (Who was driving), how much space there was, so that she could avoid hitting the curb. Took her four tries, but she managed to pull into the space without hitting the car to her left, or the curbs in front but rubbing the curb to her right.
I figure if nothing else, Delta Flyer should get a laugh out of that. "Takes 2 to park!"

Those things have hideous FE too. Rated at 15/18 for the 2WD and an even more dismal 15/17 for the 4WD version, at least looking at the 2006 version on fueleconomy.gov. I suppose irony #1 is the fact she could have just parked another couple rows back and taken up two spots instead, if she's really that bad at parking.

Pravus Prime,
My experience with keeping U-Haul trucks, does not encourage me to drive the smaller version on a daily basis.
Dallas is so spread out. I'm wondering if the squeeze parking spaces more on the East Coast? I'd think space limitations would be less SUV-friendly.
In a few days I'm going to post a picture that might suprize some of you,,,
