Group: Internet Explorer share slips below 90 percent

Microsoft Corp.'s share of the U.S. browser market has slipped below 90 percent as the Firefox browser continues to grow in popularity, according to independent tracking by WebSideStory. Firefox, an open-source browser collectively developed by the Internet community under the Mozilla Foundation, had a 6.8 percent share as of April 29, an increase from 3.0 percent since WebSideStory began tracking Firefox separately in October.

Haha. This site is definitely not a good sample of the average user. Not only are we more tech-savvy as a whole, but most of our visitors this month are from Slashdot, a self-proclaimed techno-nerd site.

I wish one of you tech-savvy nerds that uses Firefox like me (and loves it) would tell me how to get my ability to cut and paste in the browser back since I upgraded last week to the lastest version. Thanks!

If you mean pasting into the WYSIWYG text editor for threads and replies, the function has been disabled by Mozilla because of a security issue. If you require this ability, you can switch to one of the other simplified editors in your GreenHybrid control panel.
