Question Smokers?

I don't smoke, I don't understand why anyone (especaily my age) would do it. I really love how cars don't come with cigarette lighters or ashtrays anymore.
It seems to me that hybrid drivers would be even less inclided to smoke that others on the road. They either a) care about the environment and wouldn't want to be creating unnecessary pollution (butts and I image the smoke is somehow bad for the environment, not to mention other people) or b) are looking to save some money and don't want to burn through $4 or so for cigarettes everyday. Am I right?

I entered the work force at age 13 (high-IQ siblings got all the goodies from the parental units. I had to WORK for it.) I guess the *real* reason that I never started smoking was that I was too *cheap* to start (since I was using *my* money!)

Of course, if I had a $100/week cigarette habit, I couldn't afford my hybrid car, so it all worked out for the best.

(My 160 IQ sister was given 3 different cars on various occasions and a Discover card that dad paid off every month. She smokes 3 packs a day!)

I was the only person that I knew that smoked.

I had a hard time and had to change all my habits, even where I bought gas so that I didn't buy any cigarettes.

It has been just over 2 years now and I still have cravings on a weekly basis. Never did like the smell - that is until I quit and now I love to walk by people that are smoking. Don't get me wrong, I do not want to smell like it, just like to get a whiff.

Tough habit to break.

I quit cold turkey about 10 years ago after having smoked for about 10 years. Unlike a lot of people, I actually lost weight when I quit smoking. I felt so much better physically, I actually got up off my *** and started walking and riding my bike!

I'm now one of those annoying militant anti-smoking people.
