Reputation system is something where if someone helps you or is a jerk to you you can click an icon and select add to the reputation or subtract. Reputation shows up where the post count is in messages as little pips. It lets people know who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't.

For a board like this I doubt there will be very many people with bad reputations. It will mostly be helpful to find out who the realy knowledgable people are and who is offering advice that may not be reliable.

I've seen 'um just did not know that it was called a reputation system. Thanks for the reply.
