Hybrid battery warmer? Pull the cargo carpet in your 2010 FEH and take a look at this:
or does your 2010 look like this:
Those with the 2005-07 and a few in the 2008 model year have the wired connection to the hybrid battery heaters that works with the engine block heater-option 41H. This feature was dropped early in the 2008 model run. It is unlikely the 2010 version has this wired connection in place. No one with a 2010 has confirmed this as of yet.
The reference to "fully charging their hybrid battery" only applies to the upcoming lithium-ion batteries. Then again, fully charged might mean 95% charged as done with the recently introduced upstart Silicon Valley performance electric vehicle.

Filled up again today. The pump was running at normal speed and it pumped in what I thought it should. I guess since the pump was so slow last time, it fulled up everything including the fill hose before it shut off the pump. Didn't smell gas this time either.
Thank you everyone for your help.

Billy, finally found that connector in the pic. You have to flip down the drivers side rear seat to see it. I do not have the other connector for the heater.
Thanks.
Thanks.
