This makes no sense and is most likely caused the problem you are hearing the clicking noise. Bleeding the brake system should not take you a few weeks to bleed the whole thing.

No, it's unrelated. And it does make sense since I did the front pads and bled, then came back and did the rear some time later. What I'm referring to it the brakes charging which provides the pressure. Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Defeat the brake charging system, use a pressure bleeder and be done with it.

I wonder if air in the lines affects this system differently compared to conventional?

About how many miles do you get on a set of pads? I'm pushing up to 60K (and 5 years old) and am curious what service stuff is coming up.
