Carchip not reading any data.
I bought a carchip back when my Subaru Legacy was having some issues. I've kept it but hadn't really used it much the past couple of years with my new Chevy Colorado. Since I traded the Colorado for the FEH, I figured I would see what the chip would read from it. Surprisingly, at least for me, it read nothing at all. It was like it wasn't even connected. Any one else try reading from the OBDII connector?

From CarChip's web site:
"Hybrid Gas/Electric Vehicles CarChip is not supported in hybrid gas/electric vehicles, including the hybrid models of the Ford Escape, Honda Accord, Lexus RX400, Toyota Highlander, Toyota Prius, and Toyota Sienna." http://www.davisnet.com/drive/produc...exclusions.asp |

Doh! I feel really stupid now. Thanks for doing what I should have.

Re: Carchip not reading any data.
FEH uses CAN bus for communication, so you'd likely need a tool that is CAN compatible.

Autoenginuity.com claims their system will work. They sent me a screenshot.
